We focus mainly on companies developing medical technology and devices, but we will look at exceptional bio-tech, pharma, software and services companies.
We invest in companies of all stages: early development through late stage.
We typically invest $1M-5M, and allocate sufficient funds to maintain our share.
We are looking for technologies and product that address:
- Large unmet medical needs and sizable markets
- Outstanding technology and solutions
- Clear and defendable IP
- Reasonable regulatory process and reimbursement strategy
- Most of all we are looking for honest people with entrepreneurial passion and dedication that will partner with us while we help bring their ideas to life.
Process of investment and stages of our screening process:
- Preliminary Review (Approximately two weeks).
- Once the project passes the Preliminary Review, it moves on to the Primary Screening stage that includes: investigation of market, competition and feasibility. The results of the Primary Screening are discussed in an internal meeting for a "go/no go" decision (Approximately four weeks).
- Full Due Diligence is a more lengthy procedure that includes: in-depth research, reference checks, consultations with experts, advisory-board input, extensive market study and competitive analysis. The Company will be asked to give a presentation to the investment committee (Approximately six weeks).
